Bryson is 4!

These weren't trick candles, but for some reason
they were tricky to blow out with the wind blowing.
This cake used 5 cakes mixes, 6 figures, 3 batches
of cream cheese frosting, lots of gum and candy,
several hours, and even more patience.
The smile on that kids face made all of it worth it!

I can't believe I have a kid that is four. Bryson had a great day. We gave him the choice of several fun things we could do for his birthday like: Go to a movie, go to splashpark, go to Egin Lake, etc. Out of all the fun choices, he decided he wanted people to come over to eat cake; his superhero cake that he asked about everyday for weeks. He got lots of fun toys and clothes. Thanks everyone who came or got him a gift. He is still talking about it days later.............not forgetting anytime soon.

Sand dune fun!

My family went out to the sand dunes for family home evening this month. It was lots of fun. The only part I dread.......washing the boys hair afterwards. Sand has a way of sticking to those sweaty little heads.

Hadley wouldn't hold his toes  still so we  couldn't get them covered.
Yeah! Two of  my sisters,  a brother, bro-in-law, some nieces and nephews and I jumping off the dunes. I am the one who looks to be jumping the highest. This really was a blast.
Bryson is tired of climbing the hill, but still having fun.

My big helper!

Bryson decided he really wanted to help me do the dishes. I usually don't let him because its more work      than its worth, but I decided to let him. It was very comical. I ended up rewashing most of the dishes and  cleaning up water off everything, but it was worth it. Besides, I couldn't pass up an opportunity to let him learn the value of helping others and old-fashioned hard work.

Taylee Girl

On Wednesday my sister Emily and I took Taylee to get her ears pierced. It seems like everyone has a strong opinion wether we should have done this or not. I think she looks so cute. She cried for only a minute and they haven't bothered her since. She can't play with them and get them infected so overall I am happy that I did it. Here are some pics of our cute girl.

Easter

The easter bunny brought our kids these fun stuffed animals instead of a bunch of candy that I would eat most of. Normally I wouldn't get stuffed animals as they take up lots of room and my kids get bored of them easily, but these work as pillows too. It worked out great because they laid on them to watch conference (the first 15 minutes) then lost interest and went to play. I enjoyed conference a lot this time. I realized that many talks were geared toward raising children and strengthening families. A subject that I could learn much from. Hope everyone else had a chance to watch and enjoy it too:) Hope you also had a wonderful easter day!
